Cooking Terms – Part 1

Sometimes I hear cooking terms that are not familiar to me.  For example, today I heard the term “sweat.” Sweating is basically sauteing, but over a lower heat.  I put together a list of some basic cooking terms and what they mean. * Barbecue – This is a way of cooking a large piece of meat slowly, over a low temperature
