  Durian Challenge - My Life as a Foo...
  WARNING: Mature Audiences Only. Contains adult language and situations. Forget all of the hype surrounding Durian. Sure, it smells horrible, but it tastes great. The fruit tastes more like a creamy, perfumy custard than the comparisons that have been made to runny, strong French cheese. Don visited Jakarta recently and emailed me that he'd eaten it from a street vendor, thereby throwing down the gauntlet. He brought an entire fresh fruit to my house and we ate it - outside of course. My wife will tolerate quite a bit, but she has her limits. Although the smell of this fruit is really bad - not unlike rotting garbage, eating it really wasn't much of a challenge. It had a flavor that, to me, was almost indescribable.   The RASockele children soon discover a magical condo in Florida, owned by Renee's grandmother, so for spring break, they go to visit her. She's quite a crazy woman. She sees a man on a bench at the beach and automatically is screaming "it's anthony bourdain!" when it's not. The man almost called the cops.   Five Seconds in Datsville (no sound...
  Datsville is a joint project made of virtual Lego(R) models in LDraw format. LDraw was created by James Jessiman, who also authored most of the early parts in the LDraw library. Animation was made in LDA by Tore Eriksson. converted to POV-Ray frames using L3P by Lars C. Hassing. Frames were joined into an avi file by VideoMach 5.4.0. Models are made by Joachim Probst (House on a hill), Steve Bliss (Tree #7), John VanZwieten (Town Plan), Manfred Moolhuysen (Belvedere), Brian Sauls (Car Convertible).
